Booking & Availability
How far in advance should we book?
We're currently moving between Costa Rica and Guatemala, which means we have already established months and dates that we're gonna be available on each country. Please check our home page more the following months availability.
How do we reserve our date?
Let's start with the contact form to check availability and then we can move forward with a consultation call. This space allows us to see if we're a good fit for each other before you confirm a booking.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your date.
Can we change our session date?
Yes, we require at least 7 days in advance (subject to availability).
*For Elopements we require at least 30 days in advance.
What happens if it rains or plans change?
Weather and plans don’t always follow the script — and that’s okay. If conditions change, we’ll adjust creatively and thoughtfully. In cases of heavy rain or circumstances beyond your control, we’ll work together to reschedule whenever possible, ensuring the experience still feels intentional and stress-free.
Do you book more than one session per day?
Usually no, we like to take out time and move slowly but surely. Which is why we leave blocks of "free time" before and after a session.
Packages & Pricing
Can we customize a package?
Absolutely! We offer 3 popular options; however, we understand that when it comes to storytelling and overall experience there is no one size fits all. Send us a message to start your journey.
Are travel fees included?
Travel fees are included on some locations. You'll be notified in advance if travel fees apply.
What is not included in the package price?
- Travel fees outside of the photographer’s base area
- Location permits or venue fees
- Additional coverage hours
- Second photographer or Content Creator
- Extensive retouching beyond standard editing
Do you offer elopement or intimate wedding coverage?
Yes! In full transparency and honesty, I have only booked 2 weddings since I started doing photography and I absolutely loved it, but I'm keeping it small since it might be only me photographing your special day. What packages do you offer?
I currently have Portraits starting at $350 for 1 hour coverage, Marriage proposals starting at $650, and Elopements & Intimate Weddings starting at $1,100.
Additionally to this; I have portfolio for brand photography (lifestyle, editorials and product) and real estate. These packages are only available upon request.
The Experience
We’re awkward in front of the camera — will you guide us?
Absolutely! My number one goal is getting no awkward faces, real smiles and relaxed shoulders. I look forward to candid moments rather than posed photos, which is why I like mixing both styles. Best of both worlds, am I right?
Do you help with posing?
Yes, one of my favorite parts about preparing for a session is the Pinterest boards; I will assist you with outfit inspiration, poses inspirations, framing and lighting options.. All based on the location you've chosen and the vibes you're going for.
Can you help us choose a location?
I do offer Location Scouting as an add-on to the service. We agree on one full day of location scouting which happens virtually; it includes, the visits, example shots, best spots inside the location and gather all the details regarding the venue/location.
How long does a typical session last?
It depends. Every client is different, and every session is different. Let's say you book a 2 hour session which gives us the time and option to move from Point A to Point B, the transfer time is not included in the coverage. This means the 2 hour coverage + 30-45 minute transfer + getting in the zone, outfit changes etc. The total of that session would be between 3-4 hours.
Do you shoot candid or posed photos?
Either! It's really opt to the client and the kind of photos their looking for.
Before the Session
What should we wear?
There's no right or wrong. Wear what you feel more yourself and comfortable to move around in. Choose timeless, not trendy.
Can we bring personal items or props?
Of course, so fun!
What time of day is best for photos?
I usually book during the morning; between 7:30am and 9:30am, these are the best ones due to lighting. Mid-days are a no-no. And depending on the season afternoon/sunsets are great also.
Should we arrive early?
This is very personal. I arrive between 20-30 minutes early to set up equipment, settings, etc and see where it makes more sense to start.
Can we bring friends or family?
Only if you're comfortable with them watching as you get the best pictures taken ;)
On the Day
What happens if we’re running late?
We give 10 minute late arrival, after that the coverage time will start running as we'd like to respect the timelines we have reserved for you.
What if someone is sick?
If you or your partner gets sick we are more than happy to re-schedule (subject to availability).
How many photos will we receive?
As many good ones as we get! I pride myself for the way I work post production; there's no final number, I manually review and select all the best photos, edit them and include them in your final gallery. It can be 50 or it can be 400, we don't know until we're done reviewing your un-edited files.
Will you capture specific moments or shot lists?
Yes, specially for events (Weddings, Parties, etc) we require the client to provide an official itinerary and a shot list they would want to see in their gallery.
Editing & Delivery
When will we receive our photos?
The Standard delivery time is 15 business days; however, this time will vary depending on the package you select. Keep in mind "Fast Delivery" is an option to add to your package.
Do you retouch skin or remove blemishes?
Yes, we remove blemishes, dark spots, dust, background people, etc. However, deep Photoshop editing, we do not offer.
Do you deliver RAW files?
No.
Will the photos be in color and black & white?
We delivery both styles, so you have a variety of options in your gallery.
Gallery & Usage
How do we receive our gallery?
We deliver via email, it includes the link to your gallery and the PIN to download as many times as you prefer.
How long will our gallery be available?
Galleries remain active indefinitely. However, if we ever need to deactivate yours, we will notify you in advance so you can make sure to download and back up any files you may need.
Can we download high-resolution images?
Absolutely! All images will be uploaded in the highest resolution for you to download.
Rights & Permissions
Can we share our photos on social media?
100 times yes! Once you get your gallery you can download, post, and print your photos.
Can we request privacy or non-sharing?
Yes! In your contract we add a section labeled "Model Release" which you are in your right to deny. This means we won't share your gallery on our website, social media, printed material or in any form.
